Covid update: Re-opening for summer 2020

Looking to book your summer holiday? Nomansland in Devon may just be the perfect place this year.

We recognise that in 2020 many people will be looking for somewhere where you know you can have a wonderful holiday whilst maintaining a safe distance from other people. Our farm is situated at Nomansland, the brilliantly named village in rural mid-Devon. Here we count the cows and sheep, not the people.

Following the height of the pandemic, the Government has released new guidance on easing the restrictions and therefore we are now taking bookings from 4 July 2020 onwards.

You can choose from a wide range of accommodation options that enable you and your family to holiday safely together. You are welcome to take walks across the farm, spend time at the river or the fishing lake, or enjoy the wilds of Exmoor just a short drive away. Our farm shop has been providing a very wide range of produce during the pandemic, including our own fresh milk, pork, beef and lamb, and will continue to serve the local community and visitors staying on the farm.

Stay in a log cabin

Our detached 3 bedroom log cabins provide the perfect retreat. Self-contained with private gardens overlooking a 20 acre field and our private lake. Each log cabin has plenty of parking directly outside. Further information on our cabins please contact us.

We know that children love the experience of staying on the farm and a big part of farm life revolves around milking time. Regrettably this year social distancing rules mean we will not be able to allow children or adults into the farm buildings or to get involved in milking and feeding the animals. We are sorry about this and thank you for your understanding.

The local community

We are very proud to be part of our thriving local community. Naturally it is going to be vital this year that everyone continues to observe social distancing measures and any other official Government advice. We are grateful to all our visitors for respecting the needs of the local community.

Further information

As a small working farm, it’s very important to us that people come and stay. We hope to see you over the summer. If you have any questions please email us at and we will try and help.

Thank you.
